Perform Commercial Intrusion Alarm, Fire, CCTV and Card Access
System Installations. Work involves driving a company vehicle; using
hand and power tools; climbing ladders; pulling cable, following
project time lines; and performing electronic security system installations,
upgrades, and additions.
- Troubleshoots and identifies malfunctioning or inoperative equipment
on systems using electronic testing devices.
- Performs preventative and routine maintenance on existing systems.
- Provides customer training in operation and functionality of
system equipment.
- Provides documentation of installation or service performed.
- Must maintain excellent driving record; maintain vehicle &
vehicle inventory; and comply with company vehicle policy.
- Works with little or no supervision, is self-reliant and self-motivated.
- Must be able to find
solutions to obstacles as they arise.
- Must be able to crawl in small spaces, climb ladders and not be afraid of heights.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
The job is done almost equally indoors and outdoors. Knowledge of network, wireless and fiber systems is desirable.
Normally 40-Hour Work Week (8 AM-5 PM Mon-Fri) Salary (based on experience & qualifications) Medical/Dental/Optical Insurance and IRA Retirement Plan available
